Ashique Hussain is an accomplished actor, theatre director, and acting instructor who has been active in the performing arts since 1992. He graduated from the National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi, in 1999, and later earned a Master’s Degree in Performance Studies from the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, UK, supported by the prestigious Charles Wallace India Trust Award from the British Council. Hussain spent two years acting at the NSD Repertory Company (1999-2001) and has starred as a lead actor in over 30 plays helmed by eminent national and international directors, including his June 2002 devised Diploma Production, “Pyaar,” directed by Peter Rory in London. Beyond the stage, he has built a strong on-screen presence with roles in acclaimed films such as Talaash, Black Friday, and Patna Shukla. His extensive streaming credits include the hit web series Maharani (Seasons 1, 2, & 3) and Charlie Chopra for Sony LIV, Netflix's The Railway Men, as well as appearances in numerous advertising commercials.
